When prompted to do so, enter a password for accessing the digital ID. Save the new digital ID to a folder on your computer or an external hard drive. Click the “Next” button and enter your name, email address, country/region, key algorithm type and the reason you want to use a digital ID in the corresponding fields. Click “Advanced,” “Sign & Certify” and “Place Signature.” When prompted to do so, drag the rectangular signature block to the place in the document where you want it to appear.Ĭlick the “New ID” button, then select the “New Digital ID” option in the Digital ID dialog window. Open Adobe Acrobat, then open a PDF document that you want to sign digitally. Click “OK” again to exit the Adobe Acrobat Preferences window. An image of your signature appears in the Appearance block.ĭisable all of the options in the Configure Text section, then click the “OK” button to save the digital signature. Highlight the PDF file, then click the “OK” button to import the signature PDF and return to the Configure Signature Appearance window.
