Poison- P oisoned monsters lose 2 points of health at the start of every round.Headwinds- Monsters affected by the headwinds lose 1 point of ranged attack power.
Halving- Monsters inflicted with halving have their attack power cut in half (rounded down). Demoralize - Demoralized monsters lose 1 point of melee attack power. Blind - Blinded monsters have an extra 15% chance to miss an attack. Affliction - Monsters inflicted with affliction status cannot be healed. Bloodlust- Monsters with the Bloodlust ability gain +1 to all stats when an opponent is defeated. This gives them an attack of the same type as the character with the Weapons Training ability. Weapons Training - Monsters with the Weapons Training ability will “train” any adjacent characters with no attack. Martyr - When a monster with the Martyr ability dies in a battle, it gives adjacent characters +1 to all stats. Swiftness - Monsters granted with swiftness gain 1 extra point of speed. Strengthen - Strengthened monsters receive 1 extra point of max health. Protect - Protected monsters receive 2 extra points of armor. Inspire - Inspired melee monsters gain 1 extra point of melee attack power. So any effect that is applied to a monster in the list below can technically be removed if either Cleanse or Dispel is activated. To recap, the Cleanse ability removes all negative effects from your monster, and the Dispel ability removes all positive effects from the opponent's monster. 
Knowing which category these effects fall under is important when playing with the Cleanse and Dispelabilities. These status effects are broken down into two categories: positive and negative. Some abilities apply certain status effects that can either enhance your team's stats or can reduce the enemy team's stats.
Snare - 100% chance to hit Flying monsters on the first attack and remove Flying Ability. Retaliate - 50% chance upon being struck by a melee attack. Splinterlands power chart update#
